Colorado

At the beginning of February we headed to Colorado for a week of catching up with friends and family. We had such a great time. Poor Camryn was so upset to have to leave her best friends! We all had a great time eating at some of our favorite restaurants, checking out our old house, playing with friends, skiing and hot-tubbing in the snow. Can't wait for our next trip!

Snow Ice Cream

It started snowing around 4:00 Monday night.  By 7, we were pretty sure we would have a 2 hour delay if not a snow day!  So we stopped at the store and picked up the ingredients for Paula Dean's recipe for Snow Ice Cream.  That night we set out cookie sheets to catch "fresh" snow.  Sure enough, in the morning they called a snow day, and we had collected 8 inches over night.  Ice cream for breakfast!!!  It really was delicious.  Tasted just like homemade ice cream!

Another Celebration

Yesterday Carson had another birthday celebration bringing the grand total to 4!  He took cupcakes to preschool where his friends made him a poster and sang "Happy Birthday" to him.  It was also his day to be the line leader!  He was so proud!  (Not proud enough to have a trouble-free day, however.  We decided it was best for me to NOT help out in his classroom.  I'm pretty sure he can't handle having more than 1 person to answer to!)

Birthday Boy

Oh Carson!  Where do I begin?  Each day you take parenting to a different level.  Just when I think I have you all figured out, you throw something new my way.  On moment you are so sweet and caring and quick to share with everyone.  But the next you're jumping from couch to couch shouting "bathroom" names like "poopyhead or underpants!"  But each night when I tuck you into bed, and you beg me for another hug and kiss, you melt my heart all over again, just like the first moment I met you four years ago!  I love you, Little Man!

Carson requested Mineo's Pizza for his birthday dinner!  Smart boy!
