White House, Here We Come
I entered our family into the lottery for the White House Easter Egg Roll, and we won!! On April 25th, we'll be rolling eggs, playing games, and having a great time on the White House lawn! So excited for the kids to have this experience!!! Here are some highlights from 2010's Egg Roll.

The Wearing O' the Green
They say you're supposed to wear green on St Patrick's Day so you are invisible to the leprechauns. If that's the case, we had 5 invisible kids running around the backyard this afternoon!
I love this picture, except for the fact that Camryn's fly is wide open!!
Yep, still open!

Rain, Rain, Go Away
After 3 days of rain, we had had enough! I finally sent the kids and dog outside. Yes, it was raining, and yes, it was a muddy mess! But they had a blast making mud pies!
It's looks like Cooper is thinking, "Man, you guys are going to be in so much trouble!"
Cooper won't even look at the camera!

All Boy
This morning Carson was watching "Super Why". Princess Presto and Wonder Red wear big, beautiful dresses at the end when they sing. Today when he was watching, he shouts out, " I'm just going to look under their dresses and see their underwear!" Where does he learn something like that?!

Jake and the Neverland Pirates
Move over Thomas...Carson has found a new love. We came across Jake and the Neverland Pirates on Disney a couple weeks ago. Carson was immediatley entranced. We spend our days as characters from the show. I'm Izzy and he's, obviously, Jake! All 3 of his teachers at preschool are also Izzy! All kinds of piratey adventrues await us!!
I decided to take this love and use it to my advantage. Camryn and Carson have been arguing and fighting constantly! Maybe it's the age, maybe it's spring fever. Either way it has to stop!! My plan: The kids are earning "gold doubloons" for being kind to one another. When they fill their treasure chest, they earn a joint prize! We'll see if this does the trick!

Longing...
Poor Cooper! It's been a long winter. Now that all of the snow is melted, there's mud everywhere. He loved going out and running like crazy in the snow all afternoon. We're ready for the sun to shine and the mud to dry up so we can run again!
