A Boy and His Toy

Carson got a new dumptruck yesterday, and he loves it! It's voice activated so it comes when he calls it!! So much better than a puppy; we don't even have to house break it!

When the house is quiet and you don't know where Carson is, you can bet he's up to no good. This is where I found him today! You can't tell from the picture, but the water IS running! What a wild man!

First of all, I have to apologize for how long it has taken me to update. I finally got Jerrod out of the house and off the computer!

Last Thursday, February 12th, Carson had his 2-year check-up. Apparently he's grown a ton!!He's gained 4 pounds and 3 inches in the last 6 months! He's now in the 15th percentile for his weight and 75th for height. Way to grow, Carson!

Today was Carson's official birthday. I still remember the day 2 years ago as if it were just months ago. Jerrod and I both can't figure out where the last 2 years have gone. It's really hard to even remember Carson as a baby. He's just always been a toddler to us!

We celebrated tonight as a family. He had KFC coleslaw (he devours it!) and a root beer float! He also opened more things we have to move to Pittsburgh! :) I'd say his favorite was the "tooter!" (translation: scooter) He has been trying so hard to get Camryn's Razor figured out. Now he has his very own 3-wheeler scooter. He rides it all over the house; sometimes even naked!

Carson's Two!

Whew! Sunday we kicked off Carson's #2 celebration with a wild and LOUD birthday party! All of his Colorado friends were here: Luke and Kate, Ethan and Ryan, Kate, his cousin Robert and Anjali. Nine kids and it truly sounded like at least 50!

I made the mistake of waiting to get balloons until an hour before the party. The only Thomas balloon they had was a huge, singing one. He couldn't go without a Thomas balloon, and there was no time to go to another store, so I bought it! Ten dollars, loads of fun and 17 hours later, it's flat! Oh, well. It was so worth it! I'd say a great time was had by all!

Later that night, after all of the party mess was cleaned up, I went back to look at the pictures on the camera. When I tried to play the video of everyone singing to him and Carson blowing out his candles, I accidentally DELETED IT!!! AHHH! I felt sick! So, there was a cake and candles, you just won't see them. :(

Dork and Dorkette

I snuck this picture of Camryn and Carson looking like dorks, especially the little one! He insisted on having his bike helmet when we were out in the garage earlier. He also was wearing his snow boots and no diaper! He truly has a mind of his own!

Swimming Lessons
