Handicapped

We went out for dinner with some friends last night. As Jerrod went up to pay, Camryn followed him and then decided she needed to use the bathroom. He took her into the handicapped restroom (the men's are too gross!). She couldn't get the toilet paper to come off in a big strip. It was so paper thin, it just kept ripping. She looked at Jerrod and said, "That's why it's a handicapped bathroom, Daddy. Because they are magic!" (meaning handicapped people are magic and can get it to work!)

In Like a Lamb, Out Like a Lion

The beginning of March was definitely nicer than the end for us. We were glad to finally have some snow though. It started snowing Thursday morning around 8am and didn't quit until about 9am on Friday morning. I think in all we ended up with about 11 inches. The kids are enjoying playing in the snow. Well, Camryn is anyway. Carson is a bit of a "snow sally!" He doesn't have enough fat on his bones to keep him warm for more than 15 minutes!

Child Labor Laws

I'm pretty sure there are law against this. But they WANTED to help!

We made up for it by taking them sledding in the park!

Lazy Saturday

We were all playing outside today. It's such a beautiful day here! Camryn and Carson got a new t-ball stand and we were playing frisbee, etc. I was telling Camryn about those mitts you wear that are velcro and the balls stick to them. I thought it would be a fun thing to have the Easter Bunny bring. Camryn said, "Maybe you should pray to him for one of those!" Apparently Jesus, the Easter Bunny and Santa all have the same number!

Best Buds

Carson and his Uncle Nick have a special bond. I've always said Carson looks like Nick. He also refuses to say "Grandpa." Instead, he associates Grandpa Keith with Uncle Nick and calls him Nick too.

Chicken Feet

Carson found my rubber gloves and this is what he did with them! Such a "creative" little guy!

Winter Park

We headed up the hill with the Schnurs this weekend. Camryn got to ski for the 2nd time and Carson and I went snowshoeing. Camryn's getting pretty good at her "pizza pie" and "french fry" moves. If I'm not careful, she'll soon be a better skier than I am, which wouldn't take much! It was so fun to get away from the city for the weekend and actually see snow! We came home Sunday afternoon to 65 degree weather! Can't wait to head up there again next weekend with Jerrod's family.

Camryn is the little person following Jerrod who is wearing a yellow and black ski jacket. She eventually falls down at the end!
