The Frick Environmental Center had their Earth Day celebration this morning. Camryn's class has been taking field trips there throughout the year, so she and the other 1st graders were supposed to sing the "Habitat Song" for the opening ceremony. Camryn and her friend Jack were the only kids there from her class due to the torrential downpours! Despite being soaking wet and cold, it was a fun time!

The Risk I Take

Going through old pictures on the computer is like...opening a white elephant present?! You never know what's going to be lurking in that unopened box! Here is what I typically find...

When BAM! I'm hit with something MUCH worse than this, but I held back for viewers with weak stomachs!

Typically I find pictures with someone's eye hanging out or a finger hanging on by a vein! As repulsive as they are, they serve as a reminder of what an amazing husband I have! Jerrod has learned so much in the last 7 years or residency. He is already making an incredible impact in so many people's lives with the operations he is able to perform. ( As I write this at 10:15pm, he's off to the hospital to "fix" someone!) I know he hates to hear it, but I am proud of him! (Just try to keep your "blood and guts" pictures away from our family memories!)

Right Before My Eyes

For some reason today, I realized just how quickly Camryn and Carson are growing up! Even the changes over the 2 years since we moved to Pittsburgh are remarkable! Where does the time go?
