One of the things we are really going to miss about where we live in Pittsburgh is Frick Park. We are just a block away from wooded trails with streams and all kinds of opportunities to explore nature.

Mr. Social
One of my favorite and least favorite qualities of Carson's is his ability to socialize with ANYONE! He just goes right up to them with all the confidence in the world and starts a conversation. (Much like my dad) I remember a time at the park, where he marched right up to a group of teenage boys and said, "Hey, you wanna play tag?" How could they say no? Last week Carson and I ventured out to the Science Center. We had been playing for a good 2 hours, and I was ready to call it a day. Well, Carson had his sights set on a couple of girls instead. He engaged them for 2.5 more hours!! Here they are saying good-bye.

Oh, Carson...
The other night at dinner the conversation went something like this...
Carson: Eww! Mom, why is Cooper licking his penis?
Camryn: He doesn't know better, Carson. That's how dogs clean themselves.
Carson: Ya, because they don't have hands to scratch it and move it around if they need to. I can't lick mine. See? (As he tries to stretch his neck)
Camryn (under her breath): It's a good thing you can't, Carson.
Never a dull moment with that child!

Camryn's New Look
I took the kids to our friend and optometrist, Liz yesterday where Camryn received some "exciting" news. Apparently, she's been waiting for this moment her whole life! Those were her exact words when she found out she needs glasses. I remember wishing I needed glasses as a kid too. Jerrod felt the exact opposite when he found out he needed them. Must be a girl thing. She is only slightly near-sighted right now, but could be following in her daddy's footsteps. She picked out a super cute pair and is anxiously awaiting their arrival in 2 weeks. Here she is showing them off in the doctor's office.
